PriorityGreenLogo

You’re invited to attend an open house hosted by the Department of Planning and Development (DPD). Come learn how Priority Green, DPD’s voluntary green building incentive program is changing in 2014, and how it complements conservation goals at Seattle City Light and Seattle Public Utilities.

January 23, 2014
9:00 a.m. to noon
Seattle Municipal Tower
Room 4080 (40th floor)
700 5th Ave, Seattle

This is your chance to learn and ask questions about the proposed requirements for energy and water conservation, stormwater management, waste reduction, health and indoor air quality.

Seattle City Light’s Energy Conservation team will be available for questions about their financial incentives for residential new construction including a new incentive for single family projects. The program encourages developers and builders to incorporate energy efficient measures into building design, construction and operation. The new incentives are meant to better align with projects using Priority Green Expedited.

Seattle Public Utilities and King County GreenTools will be available for questions about the recently adopted recycling requirements for construction and demolition materials through landfill disposal bans, facility certification and waste diversion reporting.
