If you’ve been keeping a bunch of used batteries around the house because you didn’t want to throw them in the trash, now’s your chance to safely recycle them for free!
On Saturday, April 13 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., you can recycle the following types of batteries at the Lynnwood and Roosevelt Square Whole Foods Market locations:
- AA, AAA, C, D and 9V alkaline batteries
- AA, AAA, C, D and 9V lithium batteries
- AA, AAA, C, D and 9V NiMH and NiCad batteries
- Button cell batteries – all types
These types of batteries will NOT be accepted:
- Vehicle batteries
- UPS batteries
- Power Tool batteries
- Cell Phone batteries
- Laptop batteries
